I've been wakeboarding for about two months and can do most of the surface tricks and ride switch and everything. I finally got too where I can clear the wake pretty easily, but I only get about a foot or two off the water. Anything to help out.

stand at the crest of the wake. stand tall and fast but dont jerk anything. come in crouched, knees bent, and then stand. it's simple but really just takes practice. also practice ollies and ollie 180s. this will help you progress to HS W2W 180's, TS W2W 180's, and finally the ol' half cabs. good luck. hope this helped.

it never hurts to get a bigger wake and just come in bending your knees.

cut hard at the wake and make sure that there is no slack in the rope and lean back right before you hit the wake. keep your knees bent but keep leaning back right until you hit the wake and right when you hit it lift your knees up and you should get some good air

after your progressive edge and you start to stand tall(while still on edge) push the handle to your hips and throw your hips to the sky.

When you cut in, dont think about just turning your board, think about sinking your edge in deep....toe or heel whichever you are going at. Some people have the misconception that by turning in they are cutting instead of sinking their heels in and "showing the board graphics to the boat"

Stand tall while still on edge.. Most guys flatten out...

Idea You need a video as well, this makes you able to see it in slow motion...
