I've been working on ts5s for a good portion of this summer and feel like I'm so close but haven't landed one yet. Here is a video with 2 attempts that are basically what happens every time. Either I miss the handle and land perfectly flat on the board, most of the time with enough balance to spin around to a 9 on the water and just sink or I get the handle and end up over my tail and either slide out.

I have attempted this probably 30 times this summer and most of them are this close. Any advice would be appreciated:

The video (wish the quality was better for the file size but I didn't have time to tweak it):

Wakebrad, looks to me like you're spinning a little early off the wake. Maybe try waiting a bit more, then give a good pull with both hands at the peak of your jump. Waiting should help you keep your axis as well and keep you from coming down tail heavy. You're pretty damn close though!

Whoop! I finally got it. I figured out my problem was that I had too much line tension as I came off the wake so when I tried to pull on the handle it was either too hard or I pulled myself off balance. I just lessened my cut close to the wake and the handle pass was so much easier.

2 goals for the summer down. 2 to go.
