I saw Dallas Friday do a trick in the movie Overdue and was wondering what the name was. She hit the wake heelside and threw her legs out behind her. Just like a superman on a dirtbike. Anyone knnow what I mean?

no women just don't jump as high and it's a trick that demands air time.

they aren't hard at all, and as far as girls not having enough height thats not true. Raleys have been done without a wake, its all the way you edge.

Even watching the near-pro riders here, none of them huck raleys in competition. It's probably just in intimidating trick. Well, that and it takes some strength to pull in Confused

I've seen several girls throw raleys in comps, i think it was williams at wakestock who i saw throw one. raleys only require strength when something goes wrong Wink .Otherwise I find them quite fun and stress releiving to do when i have a bad set. With wake size nowadays it pratically throws you up if you relax.

Raleys look like they would hurt if you let go of the rope. But they look pretty cool.

QNev, the reason you probably don't see many people do them that are 'near-pro' is not because they can't, it's because they're really not that hard once you learn them. It doesn't take much strength to pull one it down if dont correctly. The hard part of the raley is the mental game - Once you've done a few, theyre not very difficult.

It doesn't hurt bad when U fall, and I should know... I wakeboard only 2 weeks and I tryed the Raley, but I have fallen evey time. If had more time to practise it I think I could do it, but I'll have to wait until next year... Sad
