Well I'm a senior in highschool and today was my first day back. Our school is currently going through some "upgrades" so alot of the parking i gone and one of the parking lots is devoted to temporary buildings. It's not an ideal place for your senior year to say the least. 5 classes, caught up with some friends, not really in the work mode yet.
Looks like I'll be asking for some online tutoring from you guys so if you know anything about Economics, Calculus or Anatomy and Physiology. We are going to have to be e friends. _________________ www.soswakeboard.com

We were just driving back from the bank and my boy slowed down to check out 2 young chicks in volleyball shorts.
Me: "Dude - those are 12 year old chicks walking home from MIDDLE SCHOOL!"
Him: "Nah, they're older than that, they just look really young cause you're older now."
My ass. |

High school girls in skirts make my commute go a lot quicker.
"I keep gettin' older and they keep stayin' the same age!"
I actually had a discussion about this on the weekend and the girls (18 ) agreed 35+ would creep them out. |

i started senior year today. traffic sucks, and my mom is taking me to school cause my car is in the body shop. nothing ruins your game worse than your mom dropping you off when your a senior. _________________ Leges |

| best thing to do imo is to drop the last 3 classes of the day and leave at lunch and go wakeboarding or dirtbiking. my consuler is killing me tho and wont even let me think that way. |

oh how i hated the traffic going into my school...
but senior year i worked for an hour before school (lifeguarding... it was crazy to wake up at 5am, i know) so i never had to deal with it in the morning & after school i always had cheer practice...
UCONN starts the 28th... 20 credits for the fall semester, plus a coaching job mon-fri for 2 hours everyday. its going to suck |

I think that between my house and work there are about 5 school zones, and if I don't leave at the perfect time, I hit all of them. |

| Aug. 29th here, but 8 weeks into renovations our school was 6 weeks behind schedule, and we still have not caught up. There have been rumors of us going to other schools and stuff like that for the first months, but that's all people talking out of their small town asses. We might be delayed 2 weeks at most, most likely 1, and all it does is take away from summer vacation next year. |

Hco, I kind of wish we got diverted to another school. I talked with an assistant principle yesterday at lunch and she said next year our school will have over 4,000 students and over 2/3rd of the classes will be in temporary buildings as they renovate(sp) our school. Glad I won't be there to see it. _________________ www.soswakeboard.com

| K-wood, I would like to, since I dislike about 3/4 of my schools population greatly (hate to sound like the kid who thinks he has friends but is really a loser, and is anti-social) but it's too much lieing and too much thinking our school is better than other schools. I have as many friends from other towns as I do in my hometown. Could just be because I had a reality check when I went to prep school, but the majority of the kids in my school will be hated when they go to college. |

reality check when you went to prep school? i would think the relality check would come when you left the bubble sheltered environment called prep school. But who am i to say i did 4 years at 2 different prep schools in miami, and then did 4 years are Rollins College. For those who know Rollins its pretty much a country club for education and wakeboarding. And now i find my self in italy working for Costa Cruise Lines in the corporate marketing department, walking to work and air drying my clothing.... REALITY CHECK.
Where did my rover and boat go!!!!!

| I got to experience alot more people, get out of the small-town environment, learned the power of multiple drugs, and alot more stuff like that. I also met a few kids who will forever hold my respect and be my friend. It was just interesting to see how money would either make or break people, kind of a pre-view of the social classes of adults. |
