I just purchased a Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro for my 21' Regal. The sales guy warned me that people have had little success with the paddle wheel operating correctly in speed mode because of Regals Fast Trac Hull design which forces air under the hull. He stated some people have got them to work just fine but most have complained that it won't work in speed mode as for the paddle wheel doesn't function correctly mounted in the bottom of the hull. Unfortunately, they do not have or keep profiles on customer installations so they could give me no ideas on where to mount the paddle wheel. It seems that on the customers boats where they had success with the paddle wheel mount location, they would note it and pass it along to new customers like me. But they don't. Anyway, has anyone mounted one on a Regal Fast Trac Hull and had success in speed mode and if so, could you send me a photo or post a photo with your reply of where you mounted the paddle wheel. I ordered it anyway since It still can be used in RPM mode. Thanks for any and all help!

I had the same problem on my bayliner with aps hull.

first regal offers pp as an option now... find out where the factory is mounting it.

second you will want to get it as far back as possible and still be able to reach it, and want it to be in location that has as much smooth surface in front of it as possible.

RPM mode works great though! and with a very patient crew you can get pp adjusted to pull best in speed mode.

Hehe, Its a paddle (helps with keeping speed) that goes with perfect pass (basically cruise control for your boat) It wont give you more air, just a better more consistant pull.
