About a week ago, some people were asking about them, and I finally got to install mine and put my boat in the water.
The install was simple, but took a little longer(like twice as long) than they said it would. It pretty much consists of putting the d-rings on the gunnels, screwing the base plate into the floor and adjusting the cables. But, after its installed, the take up and put down is really quick.
The only complaints I have are the d-rings they give are pretty ugly and that they slap a huge big air pylons bumper sticker on the pole, which wouldnt have been so bad if it wasnt already falling apart and going black before I even installed the pylon. But, those can both be easily fixed by bringing some glue remover to peel off the sticker and going to the marine dealer to pick up some better d-rings.
Overall, though, im very happy with it and think it was well worth the $285. Sorry, though, I forgot to bring my camera, so I have no pictures. I'll get some this weekend when I go up again.

I have one also. It took about 2 hours to install on our first boat and about 45 minutes to re-install on our second boat. I've had it for 3 years and no real complaints so far. Cables are out of the way which is a definite plus.

I have one also, works out great for my I/O. Tom, have you noticed any wear in your cables after 3 years? I have had mine for a season and a half and have noticed a little wear right where the cables come through the top of the pylon.
