Here's a shot that was put on the Supra message board.

The interior layout of the all new 22SSV. Looks much deeper, rear facing jump seat (a la 24SSV) and steps into the boat, colored decks/hulls, etc, etc.

To each his own, but one of my favorite things about the 22SSV is how open the cabin is. If I am riding with only two or three people I actually take out the rear and side seats to open up the cabin even more. With the 24SSV you can get away with putting a seat behind the driver's seat, but I think it's just too cramped on the 22, IMO.

Still a great looking boat though. I like the new upholstery design. Let's see some more pics!!

Nautyt, from what I've been reading the new 22 will be a foot longer and wider (not sure how much) with deeper freeboard. It will "feel" alot bigger and that rear facing seat may actually work. I agree, I was sckeptical when I heard about it at the summer boat show but with a larger cabin space to work with , it just may work out ok.

Yeah, according to the following link, it is 12 inches longer and 5 inches wider and much deeper.

Is it just me or does the tow point look really far back? Typically the tow point is right in line with the back of the drivers seat or just a little further back. This looks like 2-3 feet farther back then normal. I thought this would make the boat take longer to get on plane, more stress on the front attachment points, etc... Maybe it's just the angle the picture was taken.

So it is gonna be just a little shorter than the 24? hmmmm i might have waited to get this boat instead. Very Nice. I am curious what the differences in this boat and the 24 are? Besides a little length and some color changes. Question

Steps are a good idea. Don't know how it will do in actual use but it definitely looks interesting.

I got the chance to ride behind this yesturday. Its definatly a nice boat. I was in the launch edition though, not the sunsport. They are both different in many ways. The launch had that "play pen" style seating as the 21v has. Also it did not have those steps on it. Insted it had a walk-thru under the back left locker to walk on when getting to the back platform. That walk-thru also retracts up so you still have full storage in both lockers! Its a sweet idea even though none of us ever used it getting in and out the boat.... Nothing but great things to say about this boat. It was an awesome and roomy interriror with a beautiful wake Cool

_Jason_, How does the wake compare to other boats you have ridden behind. How big is the interior? As large as an 05 series VLX?

Ralph, Malibu's interior is much different becuase of its layout. Obvously with the Supras stadium style seating behind the drivers seat its much different than the openness of a full on wrapped interior. But that doesnt mean it wasnt comphy as hell. I personally loved how it was layed out. You can easily fit 2 people on that seat behind the driver AND its a second hold. We never had any problems with not enough space inside the boat. Its amazing how they designed this boat to have NO wasted space. There are seats that pop up out of no where! Its awesome. One downside is you dont have that full middle section that other v-drives and malibu's have (that have full wrapped interior). Yet didnt bother me once again. It was a great wake compared to what ive ridden. You can have the 600lbs bag in the walk-through or a 1,100. Deffinatly recomend the 1,100. The wake was awesome with the 600lbs in the front and however many was in the back... It was a perfect ramp with an incredible lip. Not as hard of a lip as a SANTE but deffinatly one thats easy to hit and launches you. If i had the chance. I would deffinatly jump on the opertunity to buy one of these.

The swivel racks are now a little different.. they now have a big ole push button on the bottom alowing 2 different stop points for the swivel. This is a different step from 06 because now there are no more pins you have to deal with, just the rubber coated button. (which i love)... thats enough for now.....enough of my thoughts! haha

Yes maybe. Either Sanger V215 or the Supra 22SSV are top of the list at the mo.

Don't tell the wife....

h2obug, thanks.

Ralph, I have ridden behind both. A good buddy of mine owns a 215. I have nothing bad to say about both boats. Supra wake seemed to be a little more maxed out. You really have to add the extra with the v215. The Sanger though is very roomy though too. I don't think you could go wrong either way. And dont worrie about the wife...your safe with me Laughing

E.J., Yeah its really great. It sits out of the water incredibly high now becuase of its new hull. And as you can see.. thats why we had no problem finding enough space for all of us. Its truly super nice.

Just ordered a new 22SSV today. I love my 05 but the only things I would improve upon the boat is what they've changed for 07 (sits up higher, rear jump seat)

Is the captains chair more comfortable? It looks as though it actually swivels also.

It does swivel. Supposedly they upgraded the seats as well and are supposed to be more comfortable. Not quite sure what they did, seats in my 05 launch are extremely plush and comfortable.
