|
|
Im workin on a whole bunch of tricks right now and I decided not to make a bunch of threads so I put them all in this one, any help appreciated.
HS FS 5: Try them off the double up, any general tips?
TS BS 180s: I get about 150 degrees of the rotation and the handle but get pulled over and catch my edge
Bel Air: Get them about 3/4 of the way around, should I try them Reentry?
Scarecrow: General tips? I seem out of control
Thanks in advance, if anyone has any ideas for TS tricks for me to try Im all ears. I need them pretty bad, im becoming a HS Hero. (Ive given up on TS 3s and Frontrolls for now so dont mention those) |

| All I can say for the TS BS 180 is if you're getting the handle that's awesome, just try and lean back and put more weight on your back foot, maybe try getting the rotation earlier and lifting up your legs a little bit |

| Personally I think the ts fs 3 would be easier than the hs fs 5. I know you can do handle passes so just pass the handle at the last possible moment on your ts 3 and you'll get it. |

HS FS 5 - Lead with your shoulders after the 3. Commit to it! After you get the handle pass pull in again and pass in front of you.
TS BS 1- use a progressive edge and throw it away from the boat. Not really drift the board behind you like a OA 180, but it kind of gets me in the right position to spin. Again, commit to the spin even if you think you won't make it. Most of the time when I do them, in the air it doesn't feel like I am going to make it around. I've also seen people do these with out a progressive edge and they flaten out before the wake. Try it both ways and see what is easiest.
Bel Air - I find these easiest with a 3 stage board that sits low in the water. I can barley do them on my 3DS now. But I used to get great pop from my premier and other 3 stage boards. Cut out and huck it. There is a weird pop that you get that I've only got from doing them a buch. Its happens so fast its hard to explain.
Scarecrows - A lot can go wrong with this trick I would really have to see what your doing to help you but generally...... Pop it. Throw it and pull the handle to your back hip and be ready to hold on. Scarecrows usually come down pretty hard when you learn them. _________________ www.nationsfoundation.org

HS FS 5's for me are different off the DU than they are from off the wake. off the double up since i get a lot more time in the air, i pull like a normal 360, but if the jump feels good then i'll pull a second time to get around to 5 and spot the landing.
If it's off the wake, i usually just pull once real hard and look over my lead shoulder after the first handlepass and make it one smooth motion. i go into the jump thinking 5, but knowing i can keep it at 3 if i don't get the right pop |

Ha finally, I scratched the TS BS 180 off the list after a good 50 tries. Today they were all land back foot heavy with the handle, pop it and coast and sink. Finally on one I just got it, not even a sketchy landing...nice and clean. Tomorrow its a TS FS 3 again or R2R or grabbed backroll or TS backroll or Bel Air or HS BS 180 or Scarecrow or or or or. Whatever, Im just happy I landed that dumb trick! |
