I was having alot of trouble getting up and couldnt really on my boat and then I went wakeboarding at my uncles house who has a Malibu with a tower and it pulled me right up and I got up everytime. The rope also seemed to be fairly short. Im using a sea ray sport boat and its about 18 feet long. Any tips on how long the rope should be....what rope to use....and any other ideas to make it easier to get up on my boat. Thanks.

I ride behind a sea ray sport 175 (18ft long)

I ride at 75-80ft (depending on how much wieghts in the boat)
Buy a spectra rope.

Cheers

If you have a sectional rope, start out at the shortest length. When you are riding, look at where that length puts you in the wake (are you too close to the "rooster tail" part of the wake, is the wake steeper behind you, etc.) Just keep lengthening one section at a time until you find the length you like...

Try a static line aswell. Of course a tower is optimal Smile
