Hi!

Now I have a nylon rope and a 12-13" handle.
I would like to go for a wider handle and a spectra rope.
Does all spectra ropes sink?
Which handles are best?

I would be buying like LF watson if it wasn't for the fact that there are several posts from people who have broken theirs in just a few sets.

Money isn't really an object... I am willing to spend $230 to get the best of the best if that is what it takes.

Please guide me in what rope and handle to get.

Roos

Roos, Dude, i would say if you don't care how much you spend i would go ahead and get the accurate coated line. and most likely i would get the regiment carbon handle. I mean that is a sick set-up.

and no all spectra lines do not sink.

Don't get a carbon handle they will crack something eventually. Get a semi flexible handle like Helium. I think Helium handles are the absolute best you can buy.

i broke a watson last week, so the dealer gave me a shane ( which is the same handle as a watson, just a different color). it broke on the second pull. they gave me a straightline to replace it. i'm sticking with SL. they make great ropes & handles. i've never had a problem with there stuff.

oh, i would stay away from the carbon stuff. too many of them crack.
