I might be going to my uncles for a week and they have a mastercraft prostar 190 with a extended pylon. I have rode behinded it once or twice and the wake seems to have a preety big lip on it. I was wodering if it was how the people were sitting in it or does the boat just always do that?

The 95 thru 2000 prostar without the evo hull had a more defined lip. After that the lip is gone. Same with the earlier 190. No wake at all, that's why I keep my 91 for a slalom boat.

Manbearpig = most awesome new name in awhile...

Prostar 190 = amazing slalom and barefooting boat.
Prostar 190 = not a wakeboat under most circumstances, but in a pinch, can be workable. It just isn't one that I advise people to run out and get, when their plan is to use a boat primarily for wakeboarding. I feel like a broken record player on that issue.

I used to have a 190 way back in the day, no wake at all at 34ish, great for footing.
