ive been really pushing inverts this last week and it seems like my hands particularly my right has just taken a beating, ive got 3 huge blood blisters and almost all the skin on my palm has been torn off ( 1 layer)

im guessing it happens when i land and whipe out the handle rips out of my hand..

i get blisters while on vacation because i ride a TON. it's not all from falling and getting it ripped out, it's just from holding on and moving your hands around on the handle and getting the pull from the boat.

get a softer handle grip! That hand looks horrible... never have I had my hand like that... and I have soft hands and have used uncomfortable handles. I usually get blisters and my hand will get all red after riding, but not like yours!

Thats why I HATE any handles that have that tacky rubber to them and why I love my soft foamy premier handle. Who else is true to their Premier handles?

I also hate dumb older ppl who over-emphasize "wake", like when they ask, "So, are you going on the WAKEboard today?!" So annoying.

I have a Straightline Vortex interlock grip handle and it sucks. My hands look like the above picture after a weekend also. My friend has the same handle, but with the Amoeba grip, and it's really comfortable. Didn't bother my hands at all.

If you buy some gloves they need to be the perfect fit because otherwise the glove will slip and when you keep pushing its back on wielst still getting pulled it can sereosly damage your musales in your arms.

P.S My spelling is not very good. Embarassed

JMB - If you don't have one already, I'd say switch to a handle like the Accurate Premier. No uneven surfaces or added texture to "grip", just a plain EVA coated handle. Don't know that it will completely eliminate blisters, but it should definitely help.

I callouse up from the handle too, but I think it is because I death grip. White knuckle it into the wakes. Your hand almost looks like a bad case of athletes foot, maybe a Dr should look at it.
PS!! Athletes foot sucks, it is contagious and if someones feet are jacked in your boat lay down some foot fungus powder afterwards or else everyone can catch it. If you have foot fungus wear flip flops in the boat. The boat owners would rather you wear flops than catch it.

I always found gloves were harder on my hand after having blisters. Just give it a week and wait for it all to callus. It builds character Wink

I had a cheap ski handle and it was hard and it'd do that all the time. Then I got a hyperlite murray handle and it's a lot better. haven't had a problem since. It's a bit of a thinner grip compared to other handles, but i like it.

unless your hands are bleeding to the extent that it is endangering your life, i would say there is no excuse for wakeboarding with gloves
