| Anyone make it to the Kentucky Derby on Saturday???? Another great day of world class horse racing, gambling, Mint Juleps, sunshine, flirting, major debauchery, and about 115,000 good spirited people. |

nice-- 'a' tri or 'the' tri? I asked about that in another post too- was it on the 10-race or another race? How did you know to bet on a horse without balls considering no gelding has won in 74 years and whatever other crazy stats were completely against Funny Cide?
I had 5 bets around Empire Maker who dropped from 6-5 to 3-1 by race time, best bet on the board, and lost them all b/c I got greedy and didn't do an across the board. Dumb horses. I have pictures of friends with wads of c-notes, and my dumb a$$ didn't break even.
I will post some pics on here once I get them back, betting on the horses isn't all that matters when you are actually there, I was a bit preoccupied with a different kind of species |

| The favorite almost never wins the Derby.War Emblem, Silver Charm, Real Quiet, Charasmatic (sp?) none of them were favorites. I don't think that Funny Cide has a chance at the Triple Crown, but who knows horse racing is full of suprises. I would like to see another Triple Crown winner sometime soon! |
