Hey,

I'm looking to get a board with a 3-stage rocker. The reason is that I'm looking for more air and I've been told that 3-stage rocker is the way to go. Right now, I'm riding an 04 Liquid Force Evo with a contiuous/3-stage hybrid.

Would it make a difference if I had a board that wasn't the hybrid rocker? If so, what would a good 3-stage rocker board be? I'm looking at the Liquid Force Synergy and the LF Substance. The Substance appears to be too much board for my skill level.

Let me know guys. Thanks.

MatrixCubed, I have an O'Brien Oasis. It has a 3 stage and I am very pleased with it. Its not a LF or HL but it seems like a pretty good board to me.

I really like my brother's Hyperlite State. Just a solid board and a good ride. Great pop, good tracking, and helps you on your toeside edge with the deeper TS molded fins.
