This is my first time ever trying it, what happens is i can get up and almost turn the whole board around but after that , the nose of my board sinks into the water and i end up falling forward! | Maybe have the boat go faster at first and/or don't stand up so quickly. |

Dont turn the board so fast. Stay horizontal to the boat for a while until you get up to speed then turn your board and keep 60/40 weight on your back foot. _________________ 93 four winns

| if the board's sinking in the water its because the boat isn't picking up speed as quickly as it should, the board's too small, or your switching/standing up too early Oasis137, is right, try to keep the board horizontal for a little longer |

Think small..
Stay in a ball until your ALL THE WAY OUT of the water. Don't try to stand up, you only push the board down.
When I start, I don't turn the board until I have pulled my shorts down and gotten up to speed, then I turn my board straight, but I wouldn't do that until you get a little more experience lol _________________

You are close to nailing that sucker but like they all said keep your wieght back, no matter what!!!! I heard of people getting pissed off before they board so they have the extra strenghth to do it. so keep in mind that nothing can stop you and try and keep that nose up!

| Weird, I guess I'm backwards. I've got the board turning straight as soon as my driver punches it...works great for me. |

| I am a 1st time rider to, but I was lucky enought to get my 1st lesson from Shuan Murray. He made getting up real easy, I got up the 1st time and have never had a problem. While in the water bring your ankles toward your ass, while pretending to keep a dollar bill pinched between your calfs and back of thighs. Hold this position, Now just let the boat pull you up, but dont turn right away when you get up. Stand tall just let the boat pull you while your front faces the back of the boat while leaning back with arms straight. Hope that helps, dont get frustrated, stick w/ it! |
