| I am a noob but I recently visited some boardshops for bindings and they told me it's a trend, it's to get the snowboard boots feeling, you are supose to get more control from closed toe design but I am suspect... |

| if you really like the bindings you have now, stick with them. i've read that not too many people like the close-toe idea. if you search this there will probably be more detailed answers |

| when i rode the murrays, i hated them, in no way did it help my control at all, plus i could lift my whole heel in them. When i rode the eras i loved them, personal opinion for me, i dont like closed toe. Stick with the elements man |

there has been a fair amount of discussion on open vs. closed toe bindings on this forum...if you do a search you could read them all, but the bottom line is it's all personal preference. Most of the threads that I've read are guys saying they don't like the closed toe bindings...a few say they do like them. I've never ridden them, but unless I get a chance to demo a closed toe binding, I'm sticking with open toe... _________________ Whoever coined the term "Near Beer" was a very poor judge of distance... |
