|
|
Ok i ride at pk texas lake. Possum Kingdom out near graham tx. Anyone else ride out here? Know any good spots?
The real question i have is i wakeboard behind a 23ish foot bass boat. It's really a salt water bay boat but it works and it's what we have. We have a small pole so the ropes outta the water atleast. How do i determine the best line length. like were should the handle be in the wake, like how far back what should the wake look like were the handle is. Basically how do i determine how fast i should be going(for the best wake) How long should the rope be (for were the wake is best) Any help would be appreciated. |

| Youll have to experiment of course but judging only by the length of the boat and type, I would try 65 feet at 23-24 mph. Also try trimming the engine 1/3. Hope that helps |

So i guess how do i figure out my ideal speed and ideal rope length? _________________ What it do |

When the wake cleans up, gets swollen and looses the wash out. _________________ WakeSurf and Wakesurfing News |

Drag the handle behind the boat at 22 mph. Keep letting out line until the handle is skipping across the water where the wake is the tallest and is also not washing out. Try adding a little weight to the back.
Your best bet will be to go to the picture forum and look at peoples wakes on their boats and to what relation people are riding at. Next time Craig R or David D post one of there videos, watch em and get a feel for where they set their rope.
With the info you gave i'd say in the 60 ft. range, but i really have no idea without being there. _________________ "Your tomorrow may never come" -Mike Ness |
