Hi all, new member, bought my first wakeboard!!

Hi all,

Been snowboarding for many years (more than 10) and I was doing a few run on wakeboard with stuff that I would borrow/rent a few times a years for the past 4 years. (obrien, hyperlite, bodyglove (ouch.. that one was bad..)

With the prices of wakeboard going down year after year I finaly decided to make the move.

I bought a 2006 Hyperlite State 140 (me= 185/190 lbs) with 2006 state binding this weekend (sunday). interesting deal here in canada as the summer goes away...I like the graphic design and the metal removable fins are cool. My initial move was to get a hyperlite "motive" but I was offered/sugested this board (state) with a nice price so I took it.

I did manage to do some runs that day with the board and I so happy to see that's its the best board/fix I ever used. It do have a much more "gripper" feeling that the other board I have tested and I like it alot,
I can now cross the wake with more or less speed without loosing control.

The fix have a nice support for the heals that prevent my feet from moving when i'm going toeside. I think I am going to use lube next time because I found them hard a bit to get into them.

Anyway, I should be riding now but it's monday..i'm at work... Sad
