Basically, you want to stand taller, but still keep your edge. It is important that you keep your edge or you'll eat stuff lol.

Since it's early for you, try this:

1. Cut out as far as you can, typically untill you are even with the back of the boat.
2. Stand taller for a second, let the rope get some tention in it
3. Let it pull you about 2 feet, then cut into the wake.

While you are cutting:
1. The sharpest cut should be while your at the wake.
2. Don't start to cut hard too early, you lose your tention in the rope if you do that.
3. Think of it as 'slowing the boat down', not 'cutting across'.

Just keep your knees bent at about a 90* angle, and at the wake stand taller, but don't straighten your legs all the way. Kinda like you wanna show the bottom of the board to the boat, keep your edge...

But since I'm here... Any tips on a toe-side Progressive Edge? I am still having truouble. I clear the wake like.. 3/10 times, lol. Tips? Suggestions? Sad
