pilot_ryder, I personally learned the HS FS 3 first but only because I wasn't very comfortable going TS. It didn't take long to learn the TS FS 3 after dialing the HS 3. I've heard many people say this but I didn't really understand the importance until I was dialing them: Wait for the pop before you initiate the spin. It sounds like you're a decent rider so you'll probably have plenty of time to spin it. If you choose to do TS first then just remember, you want to pass the handle at the last possible second. IE, just before you land. Otherwise, you will overrotate every time.

Ride DH, congrats, and how many tries are we talking?
im natural both sides now and i dont think i would have a harder time either side but if i have to pass the handle later on ts or i overrotate, i may go hs because last 3 i tried i forgot to pass the handle, got the 3 not the handle Confused

i will go try the waterjug thing right now, just spin it around my hips over and over?

I am very strong on both HS and TS especially for my skill level (I can clear the wake TS switch but I only have three 360 variations and no inverts) and I found HS 3s a ton easier. Everything was comparable for both HS and TS except the TS landings were MUCH tougher. The landings on a TS FS 3 are comparable to the landings of a HS BS 1 (or more specifiaclly a switch HS BS 1). The toughest part is to remain closed on the landing by spotting your landing looking away form the boat and towards the shore.

i have been working on my hs fs 360s lately and i have heard a lot of things...but is it true that if you can get the handle pass then you can do a 360? is it 95% handle pass and the rotation will just happen?

thanks

wakebuddy87, as long as you stay on axis (don't spin too early or look down), get the handle (yank it hard off the wake and grab it), and spot your landing (looking at the boat and with a little edge) you'll land every 360.

wakebuddy87, yea it's all the handle pass, every attempt i made i was landing the rotation fine, just witout the handle

pilot_ryder, i had been trying them on and off for last season and this season, my friend and i decided to finally just keep trying to we stuck it, just not to get frusterated with falling and having to get back up, that was my biggest problem, i didn't wanna waste time in the water so i would try like twice then just ride tricks i was comfortable with,
The biggest advice for the handle pass which i don't think gets said much on here, just hold on to the handle as long as you can, don't let go untill you know it's in your other hand, i would always let go when i thought i hadn't pulled it to my hip enough, all i had to do was wait longer and the rotation brought my arm right to small of my back where my other hand was waiting

just dedicate one day to going out and just trying three after three after three, even if you don't stick it, you'll learn alot and will probably get it the next time you're out
