I bought one for my girlfriend to use while swimming. I've only used it one time riding and the earbuds kept popping out. I would expect them to fall out during crashes but they were coming out everytime I landed something.

I will disclaimer this by saying I have problems with my sony earbuds coming out while running/lifting weights. Must have freaky wide ear canals or something.

For the short time they were in it was cool to have tunes while riding. I plan to give it another shot at the cable sometime. My new helmet has the ear flaps so it may help to hold the earphones in.

Other than the performance issue it seems to be a reliable, quality product.

Dyost, don't know how it is at KC, but the guys at TSR wouldn't let me wear them while riding. The guy said "I don't want you spacing out and running into somebody" Rolling Eyes

are u serious craiger, i would punch him in the face and be like, just cuz u suck doesnt mean i do... but ya, buy mine haha, i have the 512 but i use my nano now, buy some headphones from h20audio.com and those work good cuz my ears are weird shaped for any head phones and the ones from their site work... other than that, its really light and the sound quality is pretty good... i used it for workin out and running and swimming and they worked great

i have had 3 since january..the first one broke after about 4 months the next one broke after a week and i just got my new one today so we'll see how this one holds up..they have always been good at gettin me a new one if it breaks but it sucks to have to re-download all the music you've had on there...as far as the head phones go theyve been good for me, yah they fall out after a real hard crash but u can trim them down to whatever size you would like since the ends are rubber..there deffinately sweet to have though when your riding

ipod housing with nano--- but ima send my LF one back saying the buttons broken cuz sometimes it doesnt work or turn on... and then try and sell that once i get it cuz i dont need it anymore

Boarder X - I can totally understand that. But at the same time, if (and when) I fall on the back end of a slider and find myself in a position where I know I can't be seen, I make sure my board is off quick and I put myself in a position where I won't be hit.

Then I haul ass to the middle, away from the end of the slider and in full view of any oncoming riders. Nothing makes me more pissed when I make a couple of laps and can't hit a slider because someone is taking their sweet time getting away from it after a fall...

For sure, and if things always worked as people had planned it would, no one would ever get hurt. When the cables are all hooked up, that 20mph rider behind you will come up on you a lot faster than you think. Especially if you get your bell rung coming off a slider. You never know.

why would anyone go with an MP3 player from a wakeboard company?!?! I just can't understand... Sing to yourself. or turn up the radio in the boat. I'm so focused when I board that I dont even notice music. and I dont even do much.
