|
|
| I have a 1990 sport nautique and I'm planning to put three launch pad sacks in the back (one in back, one on each side of the engine). My question is if I put the fat sacks on the side of the engine will they harm the engine cover at all? They are the 540 lb. ones so it will probably be a pretty tight fit. I just don't want to put them there if it will harm the engine cover. Please help. |

yeah, I plan on putting a sack up front as well. Hopefully the wake will be NICE. I'm running just one sack in the back right now and the wake is okay. I just don't know if there will be too much pressure against the engine cover. I hope not.
what do you guys think of the setup? |

That should work but you won't be able to move around the boat with such a tight fit. Best seats driver and rider. _________________ Ride harder...

| yeah, it will be a tight fit but I don't like more than 5-6 people in the boat anyway. |

i had a similar set up. i had a 2000x-5 and i put a 575-600 pound sack all the way back and 2 250 lbs on the side of the engine. i thought it was really nice and then when friends come with you. they can sit in the bow. _________________ pointless crew is so insane. |

It's not too bad. We had 6 people in it last time with a fat sack in the back and it wasn't crowded at all. I mean the sacks will take up space but not bench space so there will still be room to sit.
2 up front
passenger and driver
2 in the rear
not too crowded |
