i am relativly new to wakeboarding. I have been skiing for about 6 years and i have trouble keeping the board straight in the water. I just got back from lake george with my friend. We used a board with no fins and i usually got up and stayed up with my board at a 45 degree angle, but i could still get the board to go straight. Back home my board has fins and i was wondering if it would better to take them off or to leave them on
If you ride Regular Stance... Let go of your right arm..
If you ride Goofy Stance... Let go of your left arm..
This should train your body to stay in line with the boat.. _________________ Alright. It's Saturday night. I have no date, a two liter bottle of Shasta and my all rush mix tape. Let’s rock!
If you were on Lake George in NY learning to wakeboard that might make it a little harder. it is not exactly the easiest lake to learn on IMO.
I was a skiier before I started to board as well and alpine ski. I had the same problem my first time out. I concentrated on keeping my lower body and shoulders seperate. And focused on keeping my shoulders towards the boat. I am still learning so I dont know it that is any help. _________________ "It must be the moonlight or the bottle of goldslagger that brings out the romance in a girl" - Out Cold
