I could use some constructive critisism on my weak jumps. I'm thinking my stance/posture might by a factor. Is my edge even close to being progressive??? I have only been out about 6 times, but I have some a some good crash footage for you guys I'll post later for helping me out, enjoy!

| Your cutting seems fine, you just need to go out there more and more! You don't need to worry about getting down a solid progressive edge right now, but try and bend you knees more while you're cutting in and popping off of the wake. For being out 6 times and already being able to ride like that, is impressive. Keep at it! |

Here's what I noticed was missing
-standing tall at wake crest
-keeping handle at waist before jump
-strong progressive edge, not bad though for you're experience level
Chech out the trick tips section of this site and watch/read the progressive edge sections and watch what the rider does during the approach and takeoff.
Welcome to the forums and nice riding! _________________ i have mastered the art of the wipeout. |

| Heres a diagram i roughly made. For hs w2w cut out as best you can ts, then wait for the boat to start pulling you in then slowly build tension by increasing your edge. |

I defintly need to stand up off the wake, I think in this footage I was just trying to skip accross it. What do you guys think about my upper body position, too hunched over?
Thanks for the input! |

| yeah maybe too hunched over, just read up on the progressive edge or follow the diagram above. the main idea of the progressive edge is that you want to have as much line tension as possible when you're at the top of the wake. so your hardest edge should be there. you want to stand tall so that the impact of the wake is not absorbed. |

yeah you defenitly need to stand tall when you hit the wake. and it looks like your going pretty fast but thats what i thought just go like 19-20. but your pretty good for going 6 timesjavascript:emoticon(' ')
