|
|
| Just got my new Liquid Force Omega and was looking for advice for binding position. I've been away from wakeboarding for a while, but I grew up with it...starting with a Skurfer, if that gives you any perspective. In any case, I'd say I was about intermediate, especially with the lay off. Right now, I set the rear binding about 8 degrees and the front 16 degrees. |

| I recently attended a Maven Session where they told me to try having your feet symmetrical at the same angles. Made a huge difference for me although I must admit my rear knee is not liking it very much but getting used to it. |

| the bigger the degrees are, the more knee problems you can develop. I have mine at 8/-8. |

| I have the same board and ride with mine duck footed at about 9 on both, that way when I am riding switch it feels more comfortable then having one angled more. |

I've got both mine set symmetrical at 12 degrees. I say start with the bindings about shoulder width apartand both bindings ducked out at 8-10 degrees. Just make the adjustments you need to from there, find whatever is most comfortable for you. _________________ i have mastered the art of the wipeout. |

if you have symmetrical, then riding switch wont feel so wierd. it's like this:
symmetrical:
V (two boots, I can usually do it better but this laptop sucks.)
but asymmetrical:
1/(two boots again, but imagine that SWITCH, it's different.)
so, symetrical is better for those that do more than get up. |
