Here's how I've been trying to put the W2W into practical application. I'm getting pretty close now:

Exit the wake so that the wake is on your heelside (HS). Start to edge progressively toward the wake, gradually increasing the angle. Keep your legs bent and as you begin to climb the wake, stay on edge and then stand tall as you crest the wake. You don't have to jump, just straighten your legs. This will give you the elusive "pop" that we all talk about. Once you launch, DO NOT look down. Look at the bank (or the horizon if there is no bank). This is how to land the jump without falling.

Once you get the HS down, practice doing it toeside (TS).

Please note, I am a newb too, but I do believe I understand the THEORY even if I have not yet entirely perfected the PRACTICE. Mr. Green

rockinguitar876, leave your rope where it is. If you move it and clear the wake it doesn't mean you cleared the wake, it means you shortened your rope. Definitely get a wakeboard rope though. Keep practicing and you should be able to clear that no problem. Cool

rockinguitar876, you rope looks really long Surprised try shorten it with a 1-1.5m and you should be nailing those W2W jumps for sure!

Thats really not that far... What length do you ride at, Andromade?

Oh, and rockinguitar, invest in the new handle and line before fat sacks. That wake isn't bad. You'll benefit from the non-stretch line more than a bigger wake.
