i crocheted myself a hat. it is a beanie w/ earflaps and i even added pockets on the inside to stick headphones in. call me Colorful

if you must, but it was effing fun and it looks pretty sweet. this time it was solid red, but my next one will be black and white striped w/ red trim. i picked those colors to match my electric goggle frames. it was my thing i've ever made like that. lol, is anyone else here manly enough to admit to crocheting?

I started crocheting last winter. I ski alot and have alot of down time while traveling. As gay as it is, you can make some pretty sweet hats. www.newschoolers.com has some great info from skiers who crochet

My girlfriend does this alot. She has made me lots of cool stuff. Seems like a cool thing to do if you are bored and want to kill some time. At least you are creating something and being productive and not playing World of Warcraft or some stuff like that.

hey, back! back you angry asshats! i personally would not have made a pink and black hat for myself, however, it was for a friend and that's what he wanted. mine will be black/white/red. BigRed, no worries, the Taco Bell Chalupa warmer is almost complete as well.

FYI - I know a lot of collegiate all american wrestlers that spend their free time at tournaments crocheting things like that. I would imagine most of them wouldn't take too kindly to being called gay for enjoying it.
