I am buying first wakeboard and need help deciding what to buy. I weigh 220lbs. I would say i am a intermediate rider. I have kinda narrowed down to 2 boards. a CWB Transcend 142 or a hyperlite 3DS 144? i am having a hard time trying to decide. what do you think of these for my first board i am tired of borrowing. if not one of these what would you recommend??
Everyone rides what feels comfortable for them. If you have a shop in your area, then I suggest demoing (testing out a board from the shop. Most shops let you try out a board for a small fee and if you purchase it, the amount you paid to demo goes towards the board or another board you buy in the shop.) This is the route I suggest and I suggest you try all different brands. Just because many people ride Hyperlite or Liquid Force does not make them the board of choice for you (if they are, then that's cool too!). Also the "off" brands are often cheaper because the sheep all bought Hyperlite or LF. _________________ Wakeboard/Waterski/Kneeboard/Ride Random Objects
