breaking in new bindings

i have a pair of new standard hyperlight foundation bindings and after about 10 minutes of riding my feat are killing me. i have size 11 feat and the bindings feel tight around my toes area. is there anything i can do to safely stretch them out?

hyperlites take about 3 or 4 sets to break in and then they will be great

thanks bro! also i have a pair of those shoe strecher outers... if i stuck those in my bindings would they be ok? also if someone could answer my questions over in the n00b forum...

nah dont use them, it wont really work and it is better to break them in yourself so they can break in around your feet

i have an old pair of 3060s that i got a couple years ago that i used for the first time in two years yesterday. Man they were stiff. i remember they were the same way when i got them. Too bad i have to break them in again but there worth it.

Someone mentioned to put them on in the bath tub in warm water -- I did it and it really stretched them out nicely...

that's what I did: 20 mins with binding on in a warm bath and keep them on for another 10 minutes afterwards...

Why is it just hyperlites that take 3 or 4 sets to break in? Wouldn't it be the same with most all quality bindings?

thats an old school trick but it does work. It will help also if you put some hair conditioner in the water too
