Hey all, I tried to hit double ups with no luck. I ALWAYS hit the middle low part in between the rollers. any tips on how to help my timing?

also, how to DRIVE a double up... do you go in a complete circle, hitting the wake head on or in a tear drop, hitting them at an angle? we've been ding tear drop.

Take a relatively small cut and just work on your timing. If you take a huge cut into the wake it is difficult to time. Other than that it's just practice.

if you make a circle and hit the rollers head on, there will be more distinguishable peaks to aim for. when you cut in, the guys above are right, you don't need to edge very hard at it. when timing it though, don't watch the wake, it will mess you up. watch the rollers as they come in, try to hit the biggest roller. it's usually the third one if you make a big enough circle. if this doesn't work, pull out your glock and show it who is boss.

EDIT: jpminter's 500th post. I'm an addict!

i had the same problem for a while but i hit it everytime now.

the key, for me at least, is to cut out normally and start cutting in when u pass the first roller.

also there are many ways to drive a d-up, but the "circle" is the easiest to learn and drive
