Setting up a pylon! Need Help!

I have a gay deck boat. Is setting up a pylon on my deck boat going to help any? Also what can i do to get the wake bigger?

I guess there are some hetero deck boats that put out a decent wake because the last one I rode on made me think about going deck instead of v-drive when I finally give up my I/O bowrider. Not in the same league as a v-drive but still rather impressive.

You can put a pylon on a deck boat, but you do have to work out the logistics. I'd think a tower would be easier to do but I realize a tower is pretty cost prohibitive. Deck boats can be weighted like any other boat and the characteristics closely resembe the typcial runabout so you'll probably want to weight it 60% front / 40% rear. Due to the deckboats overall size, you probably won't be able to get a large amount of weight in there and not dog the engine.
