Two buddies and I went out and got some board time in yesterday. Dante is an experienced wakeboarder. Though he hadn't been on a board in about 2 years, he was able to give us some great pointers.
For those of you who are new to this sport like I am, hang in there. I know I'm progressing. All it takes is some practice and some dedication. Yeah, I still have a LONG, LONG way to go, but every time I go out, I get better.
Hope you guys like the video.

Thanks. The rope is a cheap OTE wakeboard rope from Boater's World. We actually took 10' out of it on this outing (thanks to Dante). Since my boat doesn't make a huge wake, it put us in a better postion near the peak of the wake.
No real tips from me, I'm still learning. I have to make a confession. That 180 I pulled coming out of the wake took me completely by surprise. It wasn't planned.
Fortunately, mainly because of this forum, I kind of knew what to do and was able to ride it out. Next time, I'll try to do it on purpose!
EDIT: And the speed I ride is generally right around 18-21 mph indicated. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

My board is a '06 CWB Flame. It has molded fins and attached fins. In one shot, I was riding an old wakeboard with no bindings just skateboard tape, kind of like a wakeskate. It was pretty smooth on the bottom but it did have a set of small fins on it too. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com
