first invert.. yet another post.

ok, I've been boarding for 4 or 5 summers now and still have yet to go upside down. I can spin in a circle, but not upside down...

so here's where I am... I can land in the flats TS and HS (yes over 2 wakes, not that little flat in the middle), W2W 180 TS and HS, BIG 360 TS and HS with rotation slow as christmas. I consistantly get 6 feet of air, but anything up to about 8 happens every so often (said by people in the boat, not me).

so to the topic today: what invert should be first? I hear backroll right and left, but I think I'll be more comfortable flipping back (tantrum) instead of rolling. I hear do NOT do a frontroll first because you can't spot your landings. I have a wakeboarding video... I dont need a walkthrough, but I'll get my first two or three attempts on video and post them ASAP for feedback.

So basically I need people to say what they're first invert was and how many times it took to land. thanks.

i would say go with backroll first unless you have a trampoline.
if you do have a tramp, do some backflips on it then trip the tantrum instead of backroll for first invert.

once you learn the tantrum, theres nothing more easy (getting up is even harder) lol

thanks, I dont have a tramp, but I backflip with the wakeboard on from the swim platfrom. I can get about 3/4 the way around, and it's about 2" off the water. I'll give each a try tomorrow morning and post the video results.

well if you are familiar with backflip, give the tantrum a try first. you will probably end up close from landing it and within a few try itll work...
