hey guys new to the forums, new to wakeboarding in general... i heard that the boards made out of steel hold up pretty well, but the ones made out of aluminum are lighter to i can spin faster... which will be better for doing back flips and 740's
what do you guys ride? and what do you think i should get?
thanks in advance! |

I have a aluminum board and i can do 1482's pretty good. And sometimes i can do rodeo 740's.
It spins fast. and is really light. |

The steel boards aren't bad till you get into cast iron bindings. If you are going wih cast iron bindings I'd stay with alum. But if you run the spandex or lycra binding, or even the CNC Machined wood bindings the steel board rocks. One more thing, If you are using the steel board, toss the rope and use steel cable. It's non stretch and comes with little orange floating balls so it wont sink. I suggest attaching a flashing light to your steel board though or to the top of your helmet. Just encase your life jacket sinks, I mean stinks. Post pics.
One more thing, alum or steel, proper edging very important for that nice pop at the wake. |

This is just another example why summer vacation is bad for children. They have nothing better to do than sit at home, make fake posts, and touch themselves to bangbros.com _________________ |

What aboutthe new all indestructable titanium boards? Light and solid
(okay, so I had to contribute something useless to this thread before I go bust out a 1600) |
