I'm on my second season of wakeboarding and have jumped wake to wake a few times. I usually go about 18 mphs and I can get high, but not far. Does increasing the speed help? I'm a six foot, 185 old man that hates wiplash! Last question... Does it help to take the fins off? I can carve and control the board well, but still struggle with surface tricks.
Any help?
What I started out with was around 18mph and now I ride at around 21-22mph seems to give me alittle more distance. As for the fins take them off and ride a few times if you don't like it then put them back on its only a few philips screws you can do it on the boat. What type of surface tricks do you have problems with? I do surface 180s, butterslides, and other powerslides without a problem with fins on its all about breaking the fins loose which takes practice.
ya as you get better you will probably want to increase your speed and lengthen you rope farther back _________________ Check out my wakeboarding video on my myspace!!! go to
