Im brand new to wakeboarding and havent been able to get up yet. I have the board parallel to the boat, I bend myself so my knees are as close to my chest as can be. How much of the wakeboard should be sticking out of the water? Should I have more of the side that my front foot is out of the water? When the boat starts to accelate the wakeboard usually stars going underwater and wont come up...any suggestions?
Scroll down the left side and click on "Basic Start Video" under "Training"

i try to keep about half of my board up when i start up, are you doing anything when the boat is pulling you i just stay in my crouchedposition and do absolutely nothing and just let the boat pull me up
Keep you board sideways for just a sec till the boat just barely pulls you then straghten the board out or parrellel to the boat and you should pop right up. and keep your weight centerd on top of your board or else it will slide out from under you. _________________ Check out my wakeboarding video on my myspace!!! go to
