i started messing around again with my wake set up,

im now running 700lb fat sacs in the rear of my malibu and a double air matress about 1/2 full of water in the bow.

its an i/o

putting the sacs in the rear has made the wake huge (for an i/o) but its made it pretty soft,

how can i make it hard like it was before?

Go faster.

You want more weight in the front though because all the weight in an I/O is in the back... I run an extra 500lbs in the bow and nothing in the back (besides people).

From the pics I've seen though, your wake is fine for learning unless you're trying mobes or something.

Grind off the hooks in the hull where the bottom transitions to the sides in the rear 1/3rd of the boat.

That hook wiped out the lip on the 01 Sunsetter I had.

(just don't go to far!)

Dip_Krew, to make your wake harder you want to put more weight in the front of the boat.

WakeboardDrumma, dude... STFU. He's a really nice guy. I rode with him the other day and forgot my gas money, so he let me pay him with a box of bullets!

Must not have been a 205 hull. That wake is awesome and just gets better with more weight.

Here's what I've heard/know - I've ridden behind my friend's 205V - we don't have the weight quite dialed in but it's a nice wake with a bit more lip than mine (my wake is VERY big but a smooth ramp Maristar 240 with 3000 lbs.), from what I understand , the SAN has more of a "hitting a wall" affect (steeper) which might be a good thing for young knees...

Dip - keep experimenting with weight placement - the fine tuning can take some time.

I know my wake gets truley huge but only at certain speeds/weight placement/water depth. etc. otherwise it's just big
