| To whoever said HS backrolls are not painful.. thanks for the false sense of confidence, i think. I'd been throwing a TS front and a TS scarecrow for a season or so now.. Finally decided to get upside down HS yesterday and threw three consecutive HS backrolls. First one I ever threw I came fairly close at least hitting the board on the water.. Second one even closer just missed landin in an edge and it slipped out from under me.. Third one I cased the wake and caught the front side edge and proceeded to sling shot my face into the water. Bloodied the nose, got a shiner, and can barely open my jaw today. At least I heard it looked cool... Methinks I'll let that one rest for a week or two. |

Sounds bad but it could have been much worse. _________________ Blood is thicker than water. Family comes first! |

no guts no glory. my eardrum took about 10 months to fully heal after a nice face plant last season. My homey is considering riding with a helmet. We don't do any inverts so I called him a little girl. But, perhaps it's not a bad idea.
Dip_Krew, how did you knock your tooth out? |
