Hey everyone,
Today i took off my two fins and wakeboarded good without them. Today i went out for my second time and learned a surface 180, how to ride goofy(or opposite stance), I tried to ollie but fell, and i learned to surf carve(After face planting a couple times). I hope thats good for riding for 2 hours straight.
Well i need help on my stance and ollies. Whenever i switch my stance i just cant stay up for more than 2 seconds and then have to switch right back . I cant figure out why. I was thinking that maybe i should turn my front foot binding perpendicular to the board instead of on an angle. That helped a little but i still cant stay up long. Ok now with the ollies. I can Ollie but i cant land it. Everytime i Ollie, i just fall. And i always fall on my back(I have my left foot forward). Please help and thanks for answering my other questions.

For the stance, you should provide a little more info. Basically, people can do whatever they want when it comes to stance width and angle - I am 5'10" and ride a 138 with my feet as wide as possible on it, then duck my stance about 16/-16. You should take a picture of your setup to get some better help. But riding switch is difficult, so you being a newer rider might just be falling because of inexperience - no worries.
As for the ollie I really don't know what to tell you, especially since you say your are falling out the back. Are you rotating back when you ollie? Does your board land funny? Are you bouncing out of it?

Im not bouncing out of it, or landing funny. Im landing flat in the water with the center of my board hitting the water first. ill put a picture up of my set-up.

| you need to commit on your ollies, begginers tend to want to open up to the boat and face it causing you to slide out onto your ass. keep working and remember every day on the water riding is gonna develope your wakeboard muscles so everyday youll get better and more comfortable.
