I'm pretty sure that those jugs hold 5 gallons of water which weights about 42lbs. If you do use them I would suggest having something to secure them so they won't topple and roll all over the darn place. _________________ But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions -- it is by grace you have been saved.

Use sand bags from Home Depot (or the like). 60 pounds in about half the volume. _________________ Neuston Boards

You could wrap a few sandbags up in heavy duty trashbags just incase the sandbag broke |

| just go to lowes and buy tubesand. It is a 70lb tube of sand that is wrapped in two plastic bags one that is thin and one that is heavy duty. easy to handle and hide in storage compartments |

| what ever you do dont put too much "ballast" in your boat because if you use lead or sand or cement you can not only swamp but sink your boat, water is probably the best even though it might not weigh as much it is still better than sinking your boat and one of the best ways that is probably the cheapest is taking a ton of friends out and loading up the boat |
