DIY wakeboard racks

I have some componets that I was trying to figure out how to put together to make some racks and wanted to see if anyone had some input. I have a monster tower and have a couple of 2.5 inch clamps let over from a speaker project. They are the fusions clamps like the ones on this speaker:

I got a buddy that gave me these wakeboard racks. I can't use them by themselves because I have no cross bar.

Anybody have any idea on how to mount these to the clamps so I can then mount them on the tower? i.e. weld or something?

don't think you will ever be able to make those work with a monster tower. How much for the spare 2.5 clamps ? Mr. Green

it would be pretty east to mount those racks on a 12" piece of aluminum tubing , and then attach the clamp to the tubing on the opposite side . I see this being VERY do'able !!! Good Luck

jrhurst that was my original thought but then I was thinking that since the clamps only have 1 bolt hole to attach some to it I would have to worry about it spinning. Anybody else have any input.

is there not enough room to drill some more mounting holes ???

If i could find something like the bracket that's holding the pipe in this pic I would be good to go.

bjeremi, PM "Billet man" or check out http://stores.ebay.com/pyramidmanufacturing. They have those for tower speakers but it should work fine for that.

If you dont end up using those racks, let me know I will gladly buy them from you. The previous post about pyramidmanufacturing- those are really nice looking racks for the price.
