Prop Question

I have a 190HP Volvo Penta SX drive with a 14.25 x 23 (23Pitch) prop.
WOT is 40MPH @ 4500 RPM

I'm looking to buy a HighFive SS prop .. My local Prop shop has a 13.5 X 17 pitch used (but mint condition) .. also a used 13.5 X 23 pitch prop.

Would I be able to use the 17 over the 23 or would i have to stick with the same pitch ??

Any info or hel on this would be appreciated ..

I don't know about that prop, but...my 19 pitch prop pulls alot better than my 21 pitch prop. Hope that helps.

The 17 will be quite a change. I'm still looking for that super deal on a 19P High Five.
