Hey, I'm looking into bringing a line of wakeboard boats up to Bellingham, WA (1 1/2 hour N. of Seattle) because no one north of Seattle sells them. The lines I'm looking at are Sanger and Supreme. I know Sanger's have a good name down in California, I have several friends there who own them, but the Supreme's look like they are finished off very well. If anyone owns one of these boats or has ridden behind them, I'd be interested to know what you think about them. You can e-mail me a parts@clearwater-marine.com _________________ The NW scene is where it's at. |

| CMS, you may check in with Tracy Boat Sales here in NorCal, they sell both lines, and could probably give you some good feedback... |

I love Sangers. The wakes are SO awsome with little weight. _________________ Got premier? |

Sanger.... The Supreme boats I have seen aren't finished as nicely as the Sangers. Not to mention I've seen some awesome wakes behind a Sanger V210. _________________ If I agreed with you we would both be wrong. |

Centurion and Supreme are basically the same boat....they are made in the same factory. Sanger is very similar, and also has ties to the Centurion and Supreme lines through owners and what not....They have thier own factory.
In my opinion, Supreme is a jazzed up Centurion....sort of like the difference between a Toyota and Lexus...
Sanger makes a kick arse boat, hands down! I love the wake on the v-210!!! It can be huge with very little weight. The only thing I don't like about them is the wood stringers, and wood floor that they are still using. |

I don't have much experience with Sangers, but the wood construction that they use is what turned me off to them. Other than that, it seems like a nice boat. I have ridden in a friends 90's 19 LXi (?) and it was a good clean ride. Also one other thing that turned me off, is that in most pictures that I see of them and on the lakes, they seem to sit almost dangerously low in the water. Just look at the pic of the Sanger in the water at WSSR on the GOWAKIN.com home web page. _________________ "Why do you keeping asking me if I am allright?" |

Talk to different dealers of those two lines and find out how hard/easy the manufacturers are to work with. Find out about their customer service.
I would pick the Sanger, although admittedly, I have no experience with them. I have just seen pics of them, their wakes, and comments by Sanger owners. I was impressed. I definitely have them on my list to check out once I graduate from grad school and start bringing in more $$$.
Personally, the wood is not an issue with me, if they use XL. Everybody thinks XL is just a regular piece of Douglas Fir. I've worked with it when replacing the stringers in my Nautique and I think it is a great product. |

Thanks for the feedback guys. I called down to Tracy Boat Sales, and they were pretty helpful, so thanks for that, sounds like they run a pretty nice shop. Does anyone here actually own a Supreme, or even ridden behind one? _________________ The NW scene is where it's at. |

I have a friend that has a Sky Supreme V-drive. I like the boat overall.
What I don't like about it is the boat is damn loud. Maybe i'm just used to Malibu, but it just seems loud to me. Other than that it kicks a very nice wake, and is a very comfortable boat. |

| I own a Supreme, bought from Tracy Boats. I also looked at Sangers, I have nothing bad to say about Sangers, but I demo'd both, and Loved the Supreme. I have the 220 Direct Drive, not a bad Slalom wake, and with weight, puts out a great boarding wake. The finish is outstanding, and Supreme is using a new vinyl this year, it is up there with the best of them, for a about 3/4 the price. I dont think you can go wrong with either of them. Supreme was very helpful, and great when I ordered my boat. I know Sanger owners, and also have never heard a bad experience. |

Southbayrider, your email isn't posted in your profile, mine is parts@clearwater-marine.com
Well, personally I'm leaning towards the Supreme's. I think the overall fit and finish looks better, and they don't sit as low in the water as the Sangers, which is a benifit here in the NW because some people ride in salt water which can whip up real quick, and larger lakes such as Chelan which is always rough in the afternoon. Plus, price-wise, I think the Supreme's may be a better value overall. _________________ The NW scene is where it's at. |

I've got an older supreme and really couldn't be happier with it (for an older boat). I've never had any problems with it (that I didn't cause) and it is an 86. My only complaint about supreme would be the lack of dealerships near me. If I were considering a new boat, Supreme would definitely be on the top of my list to demo. Mine is the 21ft dd. and the wake really is pretty nice, even unweighted compared to other dd's I've ridden behind.
No experience with Sanger |

There is no comparison between the 2 boats except they float, Sanger is a much better fit and finish boat. Take both boats out and do a double up or triple up and see how the boat acts when it hits the wakes. _________________ Live to fix so you can ride |

| C-Stone, what is your basis for your judgement? I'm curious because most of the posts seem to disagree. I personally have never been in or behind a sanger. The way a boat acts in a double up isn't a priority for me, personally....what else do you think is better about Sanger boats? |
