| HEY EVERYONE, I'M 51 YRS OLD AND HAVE WATERSKI'D QUITE A BIT WHEN I WAS YOUNGER........JUST WONDERING HOW TO GET UP ON THE WAKEBOARD, NEVER DONE IT AND AM GOING TO TRY IT UP AT LAKE TAHOE ON MY VACATION, I KNOW HOW TO GET UP ON A SINGLE SKI WITH NO PROBLEM AND SKI WITH MY RIGHT FOOT FORWARD.....IS THE POSITION OF THE BOARD SIMILAR IN THE WATER AS A SINGLE SKI WHEN GETTING UP??? THANK YOU |

I just wakeboarded yesterday for the first time and this video helped me out. Someone else had posted it before, but I don't remember where so I'll just post it again. Click the link below and then scroll down to 'Training' and click on 'Basic Start Video'.
And make sure you don't fight the boat, let the boat do all the work .
