Can you wakeskate with a wakesurfboard?

I don't have enough money to go buy a wakeskate so i'm trying to use what i have. I have a Hyperlite broadcast 5'6" wakesurfboard. Could I posibly use that?

you can get really cheap decks for a starter deck... maybe check ebay

well it would be temparary until i had the money to buy a real wakeskate.
basicaly to start to get the feel of it a little before i actually buy one

not sure if you'd "get the feel of it".... most wakeskates are about 2 feet shorter than your wakesurfboard....

i've used my wakesurf as a wakeskate before just to mess around, its nothing like my wakeskate though, especially with those 3 massive fins on my broadcast.

That would be called skurfing. It's pretty much awesome, but not quite wakeskating.

You can skate on just about anything, I once skated on a piece of formica counter top we found floating down the river...

I once rode on a cookie sheet. I was doing dishes when i got the idea. Saved me from washing it. I have also rode on a hyperlite directional board, who says you cant do shuvits on a 1 way board.
