is it on your palm or your arse, that photo is so blurry I can't tell...jk.
If it's on the palm, and you need stitches, you'll probably have to wait till the stitches come out (or just ride with one hand the whole time - i.e. wakeskate).

| It's hard to really tell anything with that pic. Try backing the camera up and taking another picture.

| I have several Dewalt tools, but I don;t know what an XR is, I'm guessing it's a drill.

yeah its a power drill, i apologize about the pic but i was mildy sedated and using someones camera phone. 10:00 last night i was almost all the way through what i was drilling and then the drill quickly sucked through, off the table, into my hand. Then not having quicky reflexes the drill proceeded to run across/in my palm. i pulled it out and could see all the fat/muscle/tissue for about a minute before the blood came squirting out

When you come down off those goof balls, grab a real digi cam and use the macro mode... Also, if you still have any fat and muscle tissue on the drill lbit, lets see that too!
Anyway man, ive done similar if not worse. Good luck with a speedy recovery.

Ive got a huge cut/scrape on my arm, was running and fell on a real rough set of concret steps. But it ran from my elbow to my pinky in a pretty straight shot. it was about a quarter of an inch deep and a quarter of an inch wide, but right after it happend it didnt bleed, but you could see all the white tissue and everything, and I was like ohh man this is going to be a sweet scar, then just about that time the blood came rushing out, and I (having the queeziest stomach in the world) immediatly pass out. I woke up with about an inch of ace bandage and a whole tube of neosporin on my arm. I took it off to go wakebaording the next day, took one fall ripped the scab right off and it started bleeding like crazy and I once again passed out lol.

Colclough999, Last fall I had an injury similar to that on my palm. I was riding the OBrien Vision at the time and when I fell, my hand got stabbed by the nose because it was so pointy. I went to my dads office and he used DermaBond instead of stitches. Two weeks later I was back on the water. It was a real deep cut too...

| RufioSwashbuckle, I asked about liquid stitches but they wanted it to be able to drain if it was infected. Stitches come out next week, sucks though because its my lead hand... maybe ill brush up on my switch riding

Colclough999, gotcha. Mine was on my back hand, so I cheated a little bit and skated every now and then haha

| i wouldn't worry so much about the cut as getting lake water in an open wound. i'm sure lake water would cause a nice infection. once it heals enough the take the stitches out cover it good with superglue to prevent it from busting back open or lake water from getting inside. i know this is kinda anti wakeboard but wearing ski gloves might help provide a little extra protection when you first start back riding.
