i've been riding non-seriously for about 5-6 years now, and i'm just starting to become more serious about it. as in trying grabs, spins, and more than just jumping w2w. however, i'm still riding my board, a 1998 o'brien evil twin 57. i really like the board, and am really comfortable on it, however i've never ridden on another board so i have nothing to compare it too.

what is the importance of a good board or a newer board and would it be benifical for me to invest in one. or is my current board good enough. (to get me sponsered do i don't have to pay? i wish..)

well to be sponsored is a whole other thing. but i would advvance to a new board if your looking to get more serious. they have come out with some newer things since 98'.
