Try out duck stance at smaller angles and see how your knees like it or not. I ride 12-15 degrees in the front and 7-10 degrees in the back. Changed it this weekend and after a few pulls my knee told me not to mess with what it was used to. I've been snowboarding with a similar stance for well over 10 years and that's probably what my knees are accustomed to.
yea, u wanna do like \ / instead of | / cuz when u go goofy, it will be different, so u wanna keep them more or less symmetrical. and u wanna keep it \ / instead of | | because it will help initiate spins, land inverts, and edging. and it's just how it's done.
ive been duck stance since the beginning and its been great but thats what im used to cause thats what i have on my snowboard but to me its not that different and you should be fine
