I started boarding 3 weeks ago got my own setup about a week ago. I have been using my friends life jacket not a wakeboard vest and wanted to know any recommendations. Unlike the other post about vests I am a small or size 6.
I live in Vermont so I don't have really any shops around me with a good selection so my only real resource is the web.
Any rec's would be appreciated!! |

check out
www.overtons.com
or www.skilimited.com
I perfer overtons myself, but check them both out. I also get each of their catalogs and have ordered all of my gear from there. Since you are a smaller size you might not have this trouble, but I have a taller upper body and a ladies life jacket is not long enough for me so I ordered a men's life jacket and it fits me great.

I just got an O'Neill Vapor. It's a guy's vest, but I got a small and like it. _________________ Find your wings...

| Check out wakeside.com and buywake.com. Both of those are great online shops for wakeboard stuff and they have a good selection of vests. I have an O'Neil Vapor also. I love it, definitely the most comfy vest I've ever owned. |

Thanks for all the info. Criswb - I went with the O'Neil Outlaw.
They were super helpful at miamiskinautiques.
Also thanks to Grace B. I got my board and bindings from wakeside but for vests this time of year they were out of my size in a bunch of the models.
I appreciate all the help. These forums have been superhelpful.
BTW - I have been working on my edging and jumps and almost went w2w the other day! The pictures on the website have been giving me more motivation to work harder and try new things each time I go out! _________________ "It must be the moonlight or the bottle of goldslagger that brings out the romance in a girl" - Out Cold |
