I ride an omega 139, it came with a 1.5 LBR center fin. Is there any reason why I shouldnt use 0.8LXF center fin? It is longer but half of the height. I know the screw holes fit but just wondering if there is any reason why it wouldnt ride well. They claim you can ride this board finless but the molded ins are really small and I ride on the intracoastal waterway.

Wake2face, take the fins off, you'll be ok... I ride my wakeskate without fins and it has nothing on the bottom for fins... I ride my substance finless, just give it a go, you'll like it better..

I have rode the Omega and when I did I used the 1.1 fins from my substance. I thought it rode well, it was loose but not bad. I think you would be good with 0.8 fins.

The Substance and Omega are somewhat similar, but not completely. Especially not when talking about the molded fins. The molded fins on the substance are are much deeper and sharper than the ones on the Omega. And the rails are sharper on the Substance. So it is much easier to ride the Substance finless.
